8/20/2017 – Window replacement is something that everyone things about when they get broken but not always when they upgrade the energy efficiency of their home. That seems crazy to us. So let me make sure I understand…. you want to increase your energy effficiency, and save money on your utility bills through winter… but the same single hung windows you had before your project… you’re keeping? Just going to throw a little insulation in the walls and hope for the best, are ya? Well, logically the window is the only access point through your wall… typically that’s where a lot of air gets in the house anyway, by replacing the windows with new ones with better seals or isolation you increase your energy efficiency. Voila!
